Country full of thieves

Is this a country full of thieves or what?!

Just for this month alone, my circle of friends / relatives including myself have witnessed not only 2 but a total of 5 crimes! 4 out of 5 are theft. It's alarming when most of it happened on the jeep's route on my way home. The infamous crime site is the highway that connects mabolo to p del rosario (basta padung sa san carlos main).  My goodness! It's the same route I take every night. 03L.

I'm very thankful that nothing bad happened to me. I mean... it could have been me! =X What happened a few minutes ago was a guy in sleeveless orange shirt in his twenties suddenly hopped on to the jeep just before the traffic light went green. He sat on to the edge of the same seat, right next to a guy listening to mp3s (probably on his cellphone). Then the guy that just got in suddenly talked to the guy on the headphones. I was like waaaah? Do they know each other? Cause I got a gut feeling that the guy in orange was bugoy. And so seconds after that, he stopped the jeep and went down. When I glanced at the guy with the headphones, it was no longer plugged onto his cellphone, it was just hanging there. Then people on the jeep started to realize that that was a hold-up...

What's wrong with these low lives?! If only they could read this post and realize that its hard to earn money to buy those things. It takes us months to save and they steal it in just mere seconds.

Times like these makes me want to bring Mao Ze Dong back to life and to the Phils and let him eradicate these loathesome creatures. Sharo d matagam.

Cassette Tape...

Casette Tape ... Just when you thought that it's obsolete, someone brings it back.

Ahh sweet memories of rewinding/forwarding and tangled tape ribbons.

All those born in the 80's, makes you want to buy one, doesn't it? Haha. Grab one for $8.

Technical Pet Peeves

One thing annoys me the most about computers is...restarting the computer every time a new software installation occurs.

Ps2 slot keyboards and mice used to pose the same problem but USB saves the day. Hooray. So how about the software side? Are there no improvements on these?

It's very tiring and timeconsuming when I install a new software and need a restart for it to work. What about all the applications opened? Browser pages, documents, project/source codes. I have to save each and everyone of them. Unfortunate for those using IE when all the currently opened websites wouldnt be saved. (Lacks Firefox's save before quit feature. That's why it sucks.) For people like me, company sites require the use of IE. I dunno why the heck they would limit us to one turtle paced buggy browser. I feel like I'm forced to become a Microsoft hater.
